3-Week Multi Skills Hockey Clinics

With Head Coach of WBS Jr. Knights U-16 National Alex Vasko

Program Includes:


Day 1: Skating Skills: edge control, forward/backward skating, and transitions.                                            
Day 2: Shooting: wrist shot, back hand shot, slap shot, snap shot, passing: forehand, backhand, one-touch pass.                
Day 3: Puck Control Techniques: fake drills and moves, puck handling in diverse skating situations, stick handling: dribbling variations, development of strong wrists and quick hands.

Mites & Squirts (11 years old & under) 9:15am -10:30am
Peewees & Bantams (12-14 years old) 11:00am – 12:15pm
AAA Peewees & Bantam Minor 12:45pm – 2:00pm
AAA Bantam Major & U-16 2:30pm – 3:45pm

Summer 2012 Advanced Hockey Skills Camp

July 21st – 25th DOB: 96, 97, 98


Camp Program Includes five days of intensive skills training with two hours of On-Ice and one hour on Dry Land session every day.


Each day we will focus on different hockey techniques and core muscle groups. At the end of the camp you will improve your hockey skills level and enhance general physical strength.

Dry Land: Cross-Country Running

  • 22 training days, 6 days a week Monday through Saturday
  • Camp jersey, T-shirt and beverages

One day of training includes:

  • 3 hours of on ice
  • 1 hour and 10 minutes of dry land
  • and Rapid Shot sessions

Coach Tim Muenkel will focus on explosive hip extension, core strength and injury proofing, using plyometrics (jumping), gymnastic movements, sprinting, Olympic weightlifting (clean and jerk/snatch) 

  • Rapid shot:
    • Improving of hockey shooting techniques, such as reaction and accuracy
